Well...I deceided to work on my car this morning...and what started as one thing, ended up in 4 cheap mods.
1. Installed a LED into my ashtray. As a smoker, who uses the ashtray, I found it impossible to find the ashtray after the sun went down. Now I can find it
2. Rewired the fog lights. I used Inazuma's schematic (Thanks Inazuma!), and used a relay. As oppossed to using a positive source from the ignition, I opted to use the parking lights as my positive source. So now as long as my parking only, or headlights are on, my foglights can be turned on or off, regardless on whether or not the car is on. I opted for this wiring since I didn't intend on driving with the fogs alone, and the parking/headlight reminder will chime if I turn the car off with the lights on.
3. Installed a new cigarette lighter in the parking brake tray with a light. I didn't like the location of the stock one since my cell phone charger cord would get in the way. And since I smoke, I wanted to be able to light up a smoke while charging my phone. The other benefit of this mod was that I hard wired it to constant power so now I can use he auxillary plug even when the car is off.
4. Since the brake tray was off, I did flipped the silver hub at the base of the shift-knob upside down. I saw this on another post from a fellow Scion Life neighbor, and liked how it looked.
Here are some pics.
Ash Tray: Kinda hard to tell, but it is enough light for it's intent.

Hot Wire: This is the source I tapped for the ashtray, fog light, and cigarette lighter (sorry...i just updated the pix 2 years later. I don't remember which wire it was. you should be able to check with a volt meter).

Relay: This is how I wired my relay for the foglights (same thing here - this image isn't labeled).

Fogs: Here's a pic with my fogs on with my parking lights and sidemarkers.
