I just received my spoiler today and I was wondering who else has this and if they installed it themselves? The research I've done leads me to believe that the installation is not the same as the OEM spoiler. There are three threaded sleeves in the spoiler itself which means it mounts to the hatch from the inside of the vehicle towards the out. Any recommendations or precautions to look for? Thanks for any help.

i had to install it myself. pain in the ___. . um wow my spoiler wasnt like that. i had to place it on the hatch then drill into the hatch and then i used sheetmetal screws. i'm tryin to sell my spoiler so i can pay off some bills so that i have room for the bbist spoiler.

would've thought that been OEM, it should fit exactly like OEM? two mounting bolts & HD double sided adhesive mounting tape; bolted on top of the hatch.
heres mine

I'll take more pics at lunch to explain what I'm trying to say. I have no cap on the top of the corners because everything mounts from the back side. I'm not very impressed with the overall condition and mounting of this.

well at least if u can get it mounted it'll look sleeker. you could prob get by if u get some high quality 3m brand double sided automotive adhesive.

That's exactly what I was thinking because I'm unsure if I'll even like it on the back of the box. Don't wanna have to try and cover up six holes in the hatch. I just hope the adhesive will be strong enough to support all the weight at highway speeds. We'll see what happens here. It doesn't look like too many people have the same spoiler I do. :?

When I received my OEM CF wing, only thing it came with wa the CF hole cover thingies. They had screws in the inner bottom part too. I think we took them out, so do the same because it doesnt fit right.
I didn't install it myself, but I went to a friend's shop. They put double sided tape and mounted it on evenly.
Then just got 2 screws and screwed them on. Hope that helps.
Few pics in the signature.

No, it mounts with hardware from the back. Here a couple more detailed pics to try and demonstrate what I'm saying. I may just try adhesive tape to see how sturdy it is. I don't want to blow 6 holes through my hatch. Anybody else have this exact spoiler?
