Indysolara 01-28-2009, 01:28 PM We had 10 inches of snow today and the tc failed with snow tires. I took some pictures with the fx and it failed too.

Too bad there's no snow days at work lol unless there's 5 feet of snow haha
toeveryhour 01-28-2009, 02:32 PM i wish we had "cold" days in AZ where they'd give us a 2 hour delay. you know... when it's like 45-50 degrees out in the morning. too cold to walk to school for the desert rats. :P
50 would feels like summer lol t would be awesomw to have at least 40
SchaumburgScionJT3 01-28-2009, 02:43 PM ^^yea 40 would even feel amazing.
SchaumburgScionJT3 01-28-2009, 02:45 PM but to the op. im glad our area didnt get anything close to that. id try to call off work and they'd laugh at me.and that fx is nice especially in black
Indysolara 01-28-2009, 05:12 PM Thanks for all the comments. I am so glad school was canceled to day.

Haha I know what you mean, used to live in AZ for about 3-4 years. I loved it there, too bad for the move.
It hasn't even noticeably snowed here in Williamsburg, Va..some winter we had haha.
ExpresScion 01-28-2009, 06:57 PM I'd give anything to have it be a "cold" 50 in the morning.
jonathan110987 01-28-2009, 08:19 PM here in houston it jumps every day... its was 70-78 yesterday and now its in the 30-40's.. and this weekend is supposed to be back in the 70's...
Nakura17 01-28-2009, 08:48 PM Same around here in Williamsburg, yesterday was about 35ish degrees and today it hit around 68. I think I heard tomorrow is supposed to be warmer..I hate it haha.
i went for a midnight drive last night i was doing fine, pulled into a gas station to clean my wipers off trying to pull out and almost got stuck and went onto the highway it was alright until i came up on some pack of semi's i didn't even bother to pass 'em cause the left lane was full of snow compared to the right lane and when i was coming off of 465 and turning right onto 56th st almost got stuck again let me just say i had my fill until next week when i have to goto the bank... winter retirement ftw!!!
GQQSE13 01-28-2009, 09:09 PM we had 6" and i had no problems until i hit roads that were 'plowed' and were slick as hell. had a lot easier time than the neighbor's 350z :-p
SchaumburgScionJT3 01-28-2009, 09:23 PM ^^u had 6 inches down there?wow we got lucky.people always come in the dealer complaining about how it handles. i say buy winter tires ha
RCZDesigns 01-28-2009, 11:12 PM I lived in massachusetts all my life, I moved to AZ two years ago and my first winter in az I couldn't believe how cold 40 was here.
I need LAYERS when it's 40. Feels like 20s to me.
Those pics are awesome though, looks fun. I miss the cold & snow. Bundling up and freefalling out of my bedroom window into 2 feet of snow. :D
SW_08 01-28-2009, 11:15 PM 50 would feels like summer lol t would be awesomw to have at least 40

ya we got lucky; south of us by carbondale was supposed to get like 8". tc handled fine for me and i've still got stock tires on my stockies (going snow tires next year).

I think the tc handles great in the snow with snow tires. It is very predictable. The only bad part is when you are lowered and trying to drive through 10 inches of snow. It doesnt work. Im running the Blizzak LM-25's.
KrazyAznScion 01-29-2009, 12:55 AM ugh.. i stayedd home all day.. with a fever/flu temp past 100.. i feel like im dying...

SW_08 01-29-2009, 12:15 PM ^ me either...lol
GQQSE13 01-29-2009, 01:45 PM that's been my only worry is that; if it can make it this winter i should just mold it to the car next year when i get the new sides n rear lip lol (too lazy to take it off int he winter)
SW_08 01-29-2009, 01:48 PM i think everyone is a lil lazy in the winter....
^a little? dude...i havent cleaned/ washed my car in like more than 2 months lol
SW_08 01-29-2009, 01:58 PM perfect example....you havent but i have cleaned my car like at least 5 times a week whenever i get a chance....i hate driving around in a dirty car....and im actually gonna wash my car today....
exactly! im just too lazy plus its cold :P perfect excuse hahaha
int the summer is a different story...
SW_08 01-29-2009, 02:21 PM hahaha...
GQQSE13 01-29-2009, 02:33 PM ^a little? dude...i havent cleaned/ washed my car in like more than 2 months lol
i was dumb and cleaned it last saturday when it was sunny and 17 out lol. wanted all the damn salt off and it was back on by the time i got hom
^HAHAHA.....that's why i just wait till it rains! im not gonna spend $9 on a car wash (touchless) to have salt, ice, snow, etc. the next day.
SW_08 01-29-2009, 02:45 PM i know what u guys mean.....but when its free who cares....
SW_08 01-29-2009, 02:46 PM or turn something free down....
GQQSE13 01-29-2009, 03:30 PM ^^ true free would be good. i did the 'do it yourself' one and only cost me 3 to wash it, spray, clear coat protectant and spot free (would've done the 'polishing foam' but the line was frozen lol )
dubstyleeca 01-31-2009, 03:46 AM i love me some snow. just not all over my tC. Thankfully i live in SoCal
SW_08 01-31-2009, 04:37 AM i find that those that dont get snow often love it and those that get it hate...
indyTC 01-31-2009, 01:07 PM 10 inches my butt it totaled out to 13.5 inches... dam did it suck!!
O4COBRA 02-01-2009, 01:22 AM Haha. I think I have it bad here in Sacramento with it getting cold. Then some people say they would kill for it to be 40 degrees outside, like that's warm or something!!
i haven't drivin in it since it snow but will head back out in it comes monday
