alright im sick of searching through pages and pages and not finding anything.
i have an 09 tc, and it seems to be diff. from 05-07's.
im looking for the SS wire on the HVAC plug.
ive heard 05-07 are plug 14, purple wire.
and 07-08 is plug 17 orang wire.
(if i remember correctly)
none of that works for my car.

So what color and pin # is the SS wire on the HVAC plug in a 09 tc?

I could swear mine is hooked to the pink wire....check it for a signal.

 

yea i think mines pink in that spot too and if i remember right, the last time i hooked it up it was to the pink one, i just wanted to double check...

now i gotta figure out why the damn locks stopped working.

i couldnt figure out why we would need a VSS wire running to the HVAC plug either. lol

so its agreed that its the pink wire in plug 14, correct?

 

yeah I am very sure that is the one I used......I found 3 wires in the harness that has a signal,but not sure where that info went.....i gotta clean up my house and get all the notes from my mods in order.

i just checked, pin 14 is purple.
wtf.

 

which one is the pink one........seems the orange in the middle is a good wire ......is the pink one on the drivers side of the harness......

 

its the 14th pin on the top row if you start from the left

 

form my notes I just found it is orange 14.......the pink one also has a signal in it from whatI was told as I have it written down,seems like I tried it and it worked too.but go for orange 14

pretty srue the purple is also gonna have a signal in it as well......there are 3 in the harness that have a signal.....

 

lol, i also asked the tech why theres a signal for the VSS being sent to the HVAC, and he thought about it for a second and then said, "i have no idea"
haha.
