I like money more than rims...do you? Who's gonna say something if you get 17's? How will you feel if you get one or the other?
I'd just go 17's. They fill the well nicely on the XA and are less money in tires to maintain.

i think 17's look great on the xA's

if you had an xB i'd say 18's all the way, they have the ability to make all rims look small on them

but 18's do look sweet on the xa's too - but whatever you're happy with, you should get!

if your like me and you drive way too much, you might wanna go 17, since you could usually get cheaper tires for them, since your gonna replace them eventually. Plus I agree with Cameron on that one...
By the way Cameron what color, and kind of Scion do you have ?

17s

or 16s

heavy rims are going to be felt far more on these light low hp cars.

stick with some 17s or 16s, and get something reasonably lightweight.

Rota has some good offerings that are affordable.

of if you have more money to play with, check out the OZ superlegerras, or SSR Competitions.

I got a Black sand XB. Sooo stock (check my profile button on the bottom left of this message). Someday, rims. When I need new tires. I'm adding my AEM intake this weekend and have a goal of a GameCube or XBox.

I've even seen some really clean 7 spoke 17's on the XB. The XB makes sooo many wheelz look sweet tho.

If I had an XA, I'd go Rally style. A fog cluster up front and some 16's with meat.

if i had to do it over again id get 17s instead of my 18s... more rubber protects your expensive wheels... i already killed one of my rims... trust me its difficult to find a wheel distributor that will sell you only one wheel for a replacement without charging a heafty premium

18's look nice, the car is not fast, so why bother trying to make it a true race/performance car. imo-17's look to small. but they are more affordable.

I myself have an xA, and as much as I like the way 18's look... I would have to agree with everyone else and say go with 17's.

I'd go with 17's ... more rubber... they look good and no worries if you hit a pothole... 18's do look sweet but run the risk of warping a rim or screwing up your suspention. If you live in a warm climate like FL or CA where the roads don't see much in the way of potholes/cracks/dammage ... then maybe 18's would be good for you. either way ... get what is going to make you happy.

I have TRD 1" lowering springs and 17x7 rims. It would look better with 18s and
dropped another inch, but the 18s were another $500 or so and I wanted to keep my
warranty intact. My last car (a mustang) had tires that rubbed and a very bad turning
radius. I never want to have to put up with that again.
