So as many of you guys know, I'm having major family issues.
Well the time has come, and my mom is getting ready to file for divorce.

Anything would be helpful at this point for me to get through this...

ive wanted peace in my house for the past 3 years, and its never worked.

 

stay strong and just remember that none of it is your fault... my parents are divorced too but peace at home is better than them staying together and arguing all day you know?

is it bad that i have to avoid certain songs cuz theyll go back to events that happens in the past regarding my parents?

 

divorce is sometines best..I know I have been through it....it may give your parents chance to be happy which result in them spending more quality time with you

 

do whatever makes you feel better (within reason)

 

Somehow my mom thinks because of all her f!ck ups, that I'm going to follow in her foot steps...hahaha I turned a bad situation around and used it as a "What NOT to do, How not to be"....Just keep your head up, keep busy and learn from THEIR mistakes.

 

Sorry to hear that, bro. It's tough now, but if you say it's been dicey over the past 3 years, maybe, down the road, you'll see it's for the best.

right now i have 5 months to think about if im staying in cali or moving to KCMO

my parents divorced when i was 5, i remember it to this day. but its cool because you get two bdays two xmas two everything!

 

Didn't grow up w my real dad. And my mom just split with my step dad. I really didn't care for either of them much at all. But when it came down to it. Whether I liked it or not.....I just wanted a smile on her face. And seeing her happy would make me forget everything else...
