Hey guys i just bought the RS1 Lip Kit! It came in the mail today and im looking for a paint shop that will paint it to match my car. I live in the DC-BMORE area.

If you guys have any suggestions on a place please let me know!! Im not to sold on going to maaco. id much rather go somewhere else

dude there is like 6 places in MBurg that paints GREAT... theres Als body shop...Buckeys...and more...if u need to know where they r we can hook up and talk man SIKE JP

 

A very good buddy of mine is a Body/Paint guy here where i work in Fairfax. He painted the lip for my TC and it matches perfectly. If you are interested PM me

 

I second fullFXtc's painter's work. Both paint jobs done on his tC were top notch. One of these days I will have to contact him.... just going to be a while with the savings and all.

 

if you got the cash, it doesn't matter... but it's ~$600+ to paint a kit. (The guy that painted my Paseo for $1k, couldn't do any better than $600 on the FiveAxis kit on the xB because of all the prep involved on a new kit. - But, the shop is Extreme Paint and Body on Middle River Road, near white marsh - just google the info) so instead I painted it myself... and still spend ~$250 on materials.

actually... is your kit factory new, or used (already painted). that'll change the price.

 

hey guys thanks for the help. since ive posted this i sold my rs1 kit and bought a new one. i mixed 2 different kits and its all in the process of getting paint as we speak. pics when i get the kit installed!!!

its gonna be a one of a kind set up. im very excited and ive looked all over this page and i havent seen one person with the same kit!!!
