Sometime in May usually is a big import show at Hershey. Last year it was the same weekend I went up there. When I find out more, I'll drop in again.

since im at the track alot and all my buddies run their cars there as well, i just emailed the "man in charger" and had him put me on a temp. waiting list

For all the Budds Creek, MIR events, Scion of Waldorf will be attending, with it being only a couple mins down the road. I will let everyone know when registration is open for these events.

Please put Scion Evolution in that space

it helps to get our club recognized by show officials and others attending the shows
also, MOST shows have trophies for Best Club/Largest Club

if we have enough ppl attend the shows, we can win these things--we do'nt want another Scion Exposed(philly) to happen and have some other club take it!!!!

even if ur not in the club and attend a show with a scion, u can still put SE to help out if u want--don't have to

Richmond I'm in for sure.... My Newbie-ness requires me tagging along with someone. I really wanna get out on the track and see what my baby can do.... I really want to take my boys jeep out and see how it does, times wise... it has 35 inch tires on it..... that would just be funny.

i went to the SEMA IAS in AC last year, had APB put out for me and tavis in my dealerships xB---the show wasn't worth the drive, cuz its not really a show...its for companies to get the new products out---not much room to put vendors, its not like the Vegas show at all, but then again this is the East Coast

Yes Alexis, I am planning on going to the show in Philly for the day. Meet some friends up there then afterwards and hit up Gino's for some cheesesteaks. It will more than likely be on a Sunday though.

Will, the two shows that Dave posted are a must. The more you show your xB the more exposure it gets. Also, talk to vendors at each show, let them know you are interested in doing more stuff to you car and what not.

Dave i cant find it but under the FAQ for this show it says that you have to have the car there both days. Registration isnt even open anymore. You can look and if you find something different let me know, but that is what i read.

No where near ready. It's going to be parked half the season while I spend a ton on a wedding/honeymoon. 2007 season though, I'm anxious for it.

no offense stu, but that 1,600 ain't gonna help much.....the scions enterin shows now are extreme, and to compete you'll need to drop alot of money to play catch-up.
i had my success and stopped when i knew i was beat....im stickin to racing the car, like its set-up for, but good luck though

I've already dropped about half of the price of the car into mods. I like it, but I wouldn't get anywhere in car shows. It sucks, but I'm modding for me. I still have a long ways to go. It's kinda nice not having a g/f to suck up all your time and money, haha.

Yeah.. I agree.. I would hope by summer, or at least NOPI 06', that I should be ready to compete. I dont think I have the big dollars to do engine too much more.. not after all this crap. We'll see.. I got some more plans for the interior.. and a body kit.
