havent really opened my moonroof in awhile probably been a year but when i tried opening it the windeflector was sticking. do i just need to put grease on this if so wat brand should i use that last long? or should i have the dealers deal with it maybe it might be something else wrong with it thats why its not popping up. its still under warranty

 

u mean when ur closing it, it does that safety thing and opens back up right? i just took it to the dealer and they greased it up for free, and i didnt even have a warranty

 

happens to me too....hardly ever use it. i read a post a while back saying to grease some parts up. also will get rid of some squeeking if you have any. not to mention resetting the moonroof. just hold down the close button until you hear the thing click....

Search various sunroof fixes. I posted a thread on them. You basically need to just grease it up, but that thread gives a bit of info on how the thing works.
