After February 27, 2009 Scion dealers in the US will not be able to purchase Scion Superchargers from TRD.

The Warranty and replacement parts will still be supported at the dealership level by Toyota/Scion.

Customers will still be able buy the superchargers as long as supplies last at the dealership level, but they have been discontinued and are limited to quantities on hand.

It blows and it sucks at the same time.

I'd be perfectly happy with 200hp (I'm not a turbo junkie), but not at a cost of $4000 installed. I was hoping that it would be around for a while so that I might pick it up in a year or two when prices drop to the $2000-$2500 range like the 1st-gen xB. Oh well.

 

maybe when the economy get better they bring it back w/an improve version and cost much less

 

or maybe TRD will design a turbo kit? that would be even better.

I think they are just phasing out the old supercharger to bring in the newly designed one.

The RS 6 does NOT come supercharged... This ad is sayinng that there is a supercharger available though.... No where in that ad does it mention the RS6 With a SC... it only talks about a SC....
