So ive been driving on an crap tune for a while but decided it was time to upgrade so i called ptuning. I ordered their s back exhaust and set an appointment to get a tune. I drove 3 hours last night to Virginia and got a hotel room so i could get to their shop first thing ive been watching dvds in their store since 10 A.M man its cold in here but it will be worth it. These dudes have been super cool they even offered to order me chinese food. LOL. I most def recommend them but if your gonna wait in the shop wear layers damn its cold in here. Will post up dyno when i get back.

They're in Buffalo, which is 8 hours away from LI.

 

that stinks... i remember there being a very good tuner that a lot of the supercharged guys where going to that wasn't as far but i forget the name of the place.

 

just got back. Ran into some issues. i ll post everything tomorrow but i ended up with 270hp on the heartbreaker dyno so i gained about 50 hp. All i can say is it was the best decision ive ever made. Ptuning rocks and toan the tuner is the man.

 

Wish we had someone good around here - the only half decent tuner in okc thinks a tune is making 3 dyno runs and retarding some timing lol

Only people around here know hondas and thats about it lol Hondas are like THE import scene in oklahoma Considering there isnt much of an import scene to begin with - ive gotten pretty good at street tuning - but is there anyone in texas that's any good? BTW im using the FIC so id appreciate someone who knows the fic well

 

Theres alot of good tuning info on AEMpower.com and in the threads on here. Bascialy know your goal AFRs and where you should reach them, and have a good idea of how the AFR and o2 maps affect the fuel map and give it a shot.
