View Full Version : How much should header install cost? OrAnGeBoX 01-05-2005, 04:17 AM I bought a set of megan headers for my xb and was wondering how much should i spend on an install? hotbox05 01-05-2005, 04:25 AM all depends on who does it. i'll do it for like 40 bucks. a shop should charge like an hour or so of labor so anywhere from 65 bucks to 110 bucks depending on where you live and what kinda shop it is. ThunderGod 01-05-2005, 05:52 AM dude, you still havn't slap them on yet? umm..umm..umm. showpaojoe 01-05-2005, 06:20 AM Should be around $50 and that was a shaddy TOYOTA technician doing it. I had another set put on mine by a tire shop owner and he did it for $30. 01-05-2005, 04:02 PM A regular shop will charge at least an hour unless you know the owner and can get it done cheaper. OrAnGeBoX 01-06-2005, 05:21 AM got them installed for $60 bux Nice upgrade I like the benefits and it sounds real good High end it pulls a bit more hotbox05 01-06-2005, 05:57 AM i didnt notice a sound diff but thats cuz i installed it with stock exh and no intake , i then added exhaust and then intake. or some combo like that lol. mikochu 01-07-2005, 12:10 AM I just finished editing my DC Header tutorial... It's not a hard install, if you have the tools and the time to do it. Here's my tutorial (DC Sports): http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=41438 Here's Echo B(rian)'s tutorial (E.L. Prototypes): http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=30514 sciontificxb 01-12-2005, 11:15 PM just do it youself and with the money you save buy something else for your ride |
