How to remove A/C and heater control *****?..xB2
I got some overlays for the ***** for the three circles that control the heater, temp and A/C on an 09 xB2.
I was wondering how to get them off. they don't seem to just pull off thats for sure.
Anyone done this yet? Thanks

I would first like to say make certain overlays will work before taking ***** apart as this is actually a sort of involved task to take on.
Turn all three ***** fully to one side or the other.
1) remove radio bezel and lower radio dash section.
2) Remove Shifter bezel.
3) Remove the one screw that holds the Dash down (I believe it is on the left side)
4) Pull up on dash to left of A/C control and pull up and out on A/c control.
Now comes the tricky part. Look carefully at how connectors and cables are run as it does matter when you go to put them back. Disconnect a/c contoll and remove from Veh.
I would suggest doing the rest at a table with some light (speaking from experience). Lay control face down on table you will see the ***** are basically held in by plastic retainers around the ****. As you remove the ***** there are small gears with notches in them that give you the clicks at each setting look at how they are positioned before removing.
That is as far as I can held as I had not thought about changing the overlays so you will have to see if you can Take that section out I would assume that you can as that is what is in the ****.
Hope this helps and good luck.
