sticking wind deflector for moonroof
so i just got my car back today from the stealership. well they had my car for 2 days it wasnt just a simple lube this lube that they acctually change the whole wind deflector they said my wind deflector was corrodded and deformed. so no idea how that happened im first owner of the vehicle but anyways everything is warrantied so im okay with it if it wasnt under warranty it would have been 600 dollars for deflector and labor. well thats it so if ur deflector sticks and is still under warranty take it in to get check out
Ya, actually I was planning to do something like this very soon. I have about 6k miles left on my warranty and have been meaning to have it looked it. My sunroof won't always close the deflector. It usually can't push it down and does the safety thing and backs up again.
I'm guessing the tracks need to be cleaned or something, but I'm going to have them do it while I still have the warranty.
