View Full Version : Price out the door? Burn0ut 01-21-2004, 10:39 PM I was just wondering how much everyone paid for thier xb out the door....so i know hnow much I'll need to save. kwicslvr 01-21-2004, 10:54 PM What price you see on them is what you pay. No deals no discounts no hassles. Exclusive 01-21-2004, 10:57 PM Basicly what you see is what you get on these. Scion has a set price for the cars so you will be paying just about the same as everyone else. Sorry to disapoint you  rbloedow 01-21-2004, 10:59 PM The accessories I got are the cargo cover, fog lights, floor mats, and the rear bumper applique. Here's a breakdown of my out the door price: xB w/ Automatic - 14,480 Accessories + 583 Delivery + 565 Dealer processing fees + 349 FL Tire and Battery Fee + 6.50 Tax + 984.01 Tag, Title, and Registration + 42 Vehicle Warranty Trust Find + 2 Vehicle Total: $17,011.51 ---------------------------------------- Total: $17,011.51 Deposit - $1000 Down Payment - $4000 Amount to finance: $12,011.51 The dealership ran my credit, and basically said I had a credit score of 659. At the time, I was planning on having my mother cosign, but for some reason they were unable to pull her report (I'm only 19, did not expect my credit score to be that high). They told me they could finance me at 5.99% @ 60 months, or 7.99% @ 72 months. I decided that those rates were a little higher than I was willing to accept, so I went to my credit union and was able approved for 4.99% @ 60 months. I still thought I could get better than that. They also told me that my credit score was actually 695 instead of the 659 the dealer told me, so the dealer f'ed up. THe little change in my credit score made me unable to get 4.99% at the dealership  Anyway, today I called up USAA and was able to secure financing at a rate of 3.9% for 60 months, so they are who I'm going to have it financed through. They're sending me a blank check today so all I have to do it hand the dealer the check when the car get's here on March 1st. Payments are at $225 a month :) Call them up if you want to see if you can get some good rates :D rbloedow 01-21-2004, 11:00 PM What price you see on them is what you pay. No deals no discounts no hassles. But I think he wants to know the average price out the door, whihc included states taxes, etc. Deputy_Dawg 01-22-2004, 12:52 AM There is a one price model in effect for the Scion's. You can still get a deal in the extended warrenty if you so choose to get one. There is no one pricing when it comes to extended warranties. Deputy Dawg on the streets of San Diego :=) pmpnxb 01-22-2004, 01:06 AM I paid 17500, tax licence out the door (but i got the 6disc indash, spoiler, and floor mats).. Distracted_Thinker 01-22-2004, 01:08 AM I supposedly allready ordered one and so did my friend but they didnt ask for a deposit for either one of us. :?: Does that mean that the dealer is just messing with us or what? DonSwier 01-22-2004, 01:14 AM No deposit? :) This just means that if you don't show up with the $, someone else will be buying it soon! .... At least that's my take on it :D My dealer wouldn't accept a deposit, either, but they're sending me the xB (up to Washington State, where we have no dealers) CBSIMONSEZ 01-22-2004, 01:43 AM I thought that dealer processing fees and delivery were included in the quote? 1NZFE 01-22-2004, 01:52 AM from Scion's Delivery Processing and Handling Fee info: "Historically, vehicle manufacturers and distributors have charged a separate fee for processing, handling and delivering vehicles to dealerships. Scion's charge for these services is called the "Delivery, Processing and Handling Fee" and is based on the value of the processing, handling and delivery services Scion provides as well as Scion's overall pricing structure. Scion may make a profit on the Delivery, Processing and Handling Fee." I asked my dealer and he said that it is already included and I only need to pay taxes, license, title and registration. Maybe he got outside of Cali? Check with your dealer. Also, before taking delivery asked what their registration, license title fees are. Dont tell them that you are getting a Scion. Those fees should be across the board unless they want to Screw scion owners. toybox1 01-22-2004, 03:15 PM $19,700 .... sticker cost .... $25,400 .... got a demo though. the only options i don't have are the b-piller and gas door stickers, springs, shocks, clutch, leather, and short shifter. oh, and no grafix Exclusive 01-23-2004, 05:25 AM $19,700 .... sticker cost .... $25,400 Are you serious? That sounds like way to much specialy for a demo. Scion doesnt have that many options to begin with. For that price I better have everything plus a super charger :D raiden1200 01-23-2004, 05:49 AM down here in florida, w/ taxes/tags/all that plus dealer fees which was $699.00 (kinda high huh?) it came out to about 17500. that's only w/ cruise control, NOTHING else. WhiteToaster 01-23-2004, 07:39 AM price was at 17500, gave them a deposit of 10k. i am paying 300 a month so i should be done in 2years.. toybox1 01-23-2004, 08:05 AM $19,700 .... sticker cost .... $25,400 Are you serious? That sounds like way to much specialy for a demo. Scion doesnt have that many options to begin with. For that price I better have everything plus a super charger :D well .... there were a lot of dealer options (like the 18's that they stickered at $3k ... can ya believe it), sunroof, rack, etc .... in addition to all the scion options i came very close to not buying it (they wanted $22k ... even with demo discount) cuz with the options i wanted it would have come to $18k, but with all the additional options that i got (which if i bought aftermarket would wind up costing more ... plus couldn't get into the financing) i figured it was worth it (like i said in my previous post ... those were the only options i didn't get, including all of the dealer options) also that price includes the 100,000 mile warrenty (the whole reason i was in the market was my 65k mile pontiac exploded .... friggin gms) aylubyu 02-15-2004, 04:57 AM No deposit? :) This just means that if you don't show up with the $, someone else will be buying it soon! .... At least that's my take on it :D My dealer wouldn't accept a deposit, either, but they're sending me the xB (up to Washington State, where we have no dealers) I too went to my dealer, but they took my refundable $500 deposit. They said the earliest I'd see the thing would be June. :( Are you getting yours new or used? They had 1 used one (3k mi) and 1 "new" one (w/100 miles on it) on the sales floor w/ $3-4k mark-ups! :( I guess I'll wait till June and pay sticker for my TCM. What happened to pure pricing? I guess that doesn't apply to used Scions...
