I started putting mine on and the bottom two overlay the factory grille.. the bottom one fits really well but the middle grill sticks out.. ive tried it both ways and they do the same thing.. I havent even tackled the upper grille yet prob get to it this weekend.. just wandering if anyone has had any experience with this companies grilles.

antisanity 01-06-2005, 01:36 AM I have the same grill. Not the same problem. I dont like how there are gaps in the top and middle grills. So Im looking to get replacements.
Back to your problem though. Is the piece not bent enough to sit flush in the corners or is something blocking it from sitting in there correctly?
sciondrgn 01-06-2005, 01:38 AM Nothing is blocking front or back so i dunno.. I already bent it a little bit.. I guess Ill try a little further..
another thing when i got them some of the grille blades were bent.. dont know how that happened it was packed pretty good .
superjeer 01-06-2005, 03:20 PM I have the b cool and I had to remove the middle grill to install the new one. So the top two were replacements and the lowest is an overlay. Maybe same deal here?
sciondrgn 01-06-2005, 03:44 PM How does the B cool one attach for the middle one Sj? This one has screws that go through the factory plastic grille and you bolt it down to the back of it..
superjeer 01-06-2005, 04:29 PM that's how the lowest bcool attaches, but the middle you pop out the stock grill and fog lights then run a screw threw the side of the fog light opening, towards the grill and there's a bracket on the side of the b-cool grill you screw in to. Sounds like that's not at all the same.
stickler64 01-06-2005, 04:46 PM those look similar to the ones I got from mr. grille. cheesy. I had to put a spacer of sorts on the top grill to make it work. Good luck. I wish I had laid out a few more bucks for ones that fit well.
Fujiz_xb 01-06-2005, 04:52 PM i have a billet grill from ebay..back in july..dont member who makes it...same prob with middle one..had trouble putting it in..i started in middle then gently fitted the sides..the top one was hard..never did thought still in packaging..
Kool_B 01-06-2005, 05:54 PM B-Cool Grilles are the best on the market right now and they are the Thickest Billet Bars. Bottom is a overlay (but no zipties) Center, yes you must remove Bumper Cover and install with two screws, Top you do need to drill four new holes, not hard at all. YES they are much more expensive that the others on e-bay, and yes there was a price increase on the first of Jan. They are still the best on the market hands down, compare side to side you will see the difference and they are solid. Look at www.g5designs.com on the first page you will see them on my B You want cheap go to e-bay... you want quality go with B-Cool. They come Polished, Brushed or Black 8)
Doublearock 01-06-2005, 06:09 PM There is one on ebay that is about $110.00. I bought that one and it looks great, fits right, and is easy to install. I would suggest this one.

its_ikon 01-07-2005, 10:00 PM those ebay grills are not worth it. everyone seems to complain about quality of the fitment and especially about the zip ties
Kool_B 01-07-2005, 11:20 PM No matter what it is the saying goes....Speed cost money...How fast do you want to go! & Quality cost Money... How good do you want to look! Most of the people that sell on e-bay that I know. Don't even use the stuff they sell. 8)
B-COOL ARE THE BEST

i had the same prob..i think i had it backwards..its flush now.
sciondrgn 01-08-2005, 05:09 AM these are not held on by zip ties.... i would not zip tie anything to my car lololol
fit ment is great and all of them really the middle one just looks a little to big for the space
