Default anyone have the ACT street clutch?

so how many of you guys are running with the ACT street clutch?

does it do a good job of handling the extra power?
how is it for a daily driver?

i'm n/a with a street clutch and fidanza flywheel, so iuno how it'd do handling extra power.
daily driver, its very doable. i drive 70 miles a day in traffic with no problem.
i'm very happy with it. also trains you to be better more precise with balancing throttle and clutch.

forgive me if im wrong but isn't the street clutch a bit over kill for a n/a setup?
i thought they held like 390 ft/lbs or something like that?

yeah, its probably overkill. but i like the feel of it way more than stock, and i'm completely used to it now, so i have no problems. been on it for over a year, 20k miles, and i'm still happy.

Not too shabby. It's noticeably more aggressive than stock, but not as bad as the CC S4 IMO.

Bout the same IMO. Maybe a touch more aggressive on pedal feel, but engagement is crisp

the act street clutch is a full disc clutch... that's why i was thinking of getting it over the CC3 / CC4

hopefully it wont have issues holding 300whp long term

Im talking about a different ACT clutch, this ACT clutch holds more than 500hp yet still a full disc instead of a puck..

I see, but entry level clutches (stage 1-3) always come with a full disc clutch.. i wast pointing out to you this one to see if it would get your interest getting a more streetable full disc clutch but are rated 300-500+hp :D

with an entry level one you might be a lil shy of clamping power, i think its only rated 80% over stock which is between 250-300 hp, if you have a goal of 300whp it you might want to get a bit higher..

well the CC stage 3 isnt a full disc type

from what i know the ACT street clutch isn't an entry level clutch its supposed to handle 390 ft/lbs ... so what are you talking about that its not gonna handle 300whp?

someone please correct me if im wrong

lol i was going by what you said that it is an entry level and your concern if it would handle 300 hp.. if its rated 390 hp then you shouldnt be concerned of it not handling 300 hp. seems like you found your clutch to buy.. let us know how it goes
