Good to hear you are gettign close as well.I figure to build a fit piece that goes on the floor, then measure with the subs in place from the floor to the bottom of the false floor and build framework to set it on,not sure how I am going to secure the false floor tothe frame yet, probably doublesided tape to just hold it in place,or something, then a screw through the bottom of the sub boxes to hold them in place to the false floor.....
The sub boxes are from www.bassforms.com .......extremely expensive......seems like I paid $450 for the pair plus shipping, but I got the ID10s for $190 for 3 of them so I have a spare, they had less than 40 hours on them, the guy upgraded to larger subs.
Yep able to keep the donut,to use the bassforms boxes properly you have to raise the floor about 1.5",which gives me just enough room to clear the amp from the spare, jack and tools will go in a tool bag in the donut.
Velcro is probably the best way to hold it all down.......never thought about that....gonna give it a try.
