ive had a trd exhaust on my car since i first got it but recently i installed a weapon r short ram intake. it seems to me that my car got a little bit quieter? am i goin insane or can i just not tell the difference. i thought intakes were supposed to make a car louder, whats goin on lol

 

Shouldn't really change anything at all. I mean, it could get a little louder under load (from the intake) but it depends.

 

yea i think when im accelerating heavily then its a little louder but when im just drivin normal it seems quieter..

 

You are probably getting used to the exhaust. How long have you had it? I know I really don't think mine is loud anymore.

 

ive had it for about 8 months now

 

you will only hear the intake under heavier throttle, not during normal driving. I doubt it made anything quieter.

When I had my injen intake setup as a CAI.

I would really only hear it at about 3000rpm.

Setup as a SRI, I would hear it sooner.
