Just picked this up and the shipping was two days for me via USPS.

The install took almost 10 minutes since I did it with extremely little light (only the stock dome light) otherwise I could have had it in within two minutes at best. The construction is fantastic and looks OEM. To install, you only need a 10mm socket, 2" extension, and a ratchet. Someone broke my original TBL when they put some furniture in... the rest is history.

My only concern is that I tried using a LED bar from them and couldnt get everything to work right. I have cruise control and the same LED tails(sonar i believe). If I can plug it in and not have the dash warning lights or tails coming on faintly, I'm all in.

The black casing is just the shell, the led light "snaps" into the shell using 3 "buckle" type clips

So when yoru pushing it onto the car if you catch it the wrong way the LED pops out and you have to snap back in

Also the wiring from the LED is like hot glued into the attachment and just looks like if u twisted it too much your wires would come out....

I can't foresee any issues with it and even if there are, I'm sure it can be fixed with a load resistor. People have had this issue with the LED tails and fixed it with a load resistor.

The operating voltage isn't any different, it just draws less power.

You shouldn't have any problems with LED tails. I haven't heard anything either way on the cruise control option though. Give me a few months and I can verify that information for a fact. Although, you're in Fulton, MO... If you are ever over in Kansas City give me a shout and we can test it for a fact.

Several months ago I tried a Piranha bar. I tried a load resistor and it didn't work.

I kinda have an idea for somethig else.

So this is just a direct replacement? Plug in play basically? I don't want to bother with resistors.

i went to the junk yard and got an LED TDL from an xB2 and did a little tweekin and got it to fit nice.
it uses the super flux LEDs so its stupid bright.
i like it and i only spent $45

The system can tell if the draw changes from the standard bulb.

just installed mine today. sorry, no pics yet, but its so badass. had to mod the mounting points on the CF hatch a little and use some 3M for extra security. but it looks soooooooooooo good!

FYI, this group buy has been trying to happen since February. i was on the list but got tired of waiting. you guys should just bite the bullet and buy one already. trust me, you wont regret it.

I'd like to find an answer to this as well. I'm in the process of looking at a rostra cruise control and haven't heard either way about this. Not to mention, I am running Sonar LED tails. I don't want to go back to stock just to get cruise to work.

ive heard that the cruise control wont work with the led tails. I have tyc's on my car and the rostra,and it works fine.

If cruise is a problem, you could always add a load resistor to fix that and trick it into thinking there is more current.

Still would like an answer also.....Right, the cruise works fine with the LED tails. It's when you add an LED bulb to the center brake light that you start getting warning lights a flashing. It drove me nuts trying to figure it out so I'm just running a standard bulb till the secret is found. :tap:

Just every so often I take a long hwy rd and need the cruise. I wonder if a resistor added would simulate a regular bulb? Or maybe cause there are so many LEDs that it might have enough draw.

The LED unit does not draw enough power and turns on the lights. Try adding the resistor and I think it will work right.

Will I need one for the brake lights?The tail lights aren't causing the problem so unless you have LED turn signals that blink too fast you will only need the resistor for the third brake light. Use the same resistor you would for one turn signal. It should trick the system into thinking you have a standard bulb installed.
If this works I may get that center brake light from Oznium. :tap:

I was referring to the ones they sell at AZ made for tail lights. Not sure what size would be needed to match a standard bulb. Maybe the bulb says how much draw it uses and duplicate that???
And yes, it goes in the positive wire.

Oh! I forgot to add. I have a second light that I can sell if your interested. My first has a wire that was not attatched. I told them about it and I had repaired it my self but they went ahead and sent me another one. It's still in the box. Any one interested?

Alright ladies and gentle man. i've ordered the resistor, should be here in a couple days. i'm going to pop that bad boy in. whiel i was at it i went a head and got the LED flasher, and LED'ed out all of my lights except for the back up. so i will take some photo's of the removal, and install of the new flashers, and the LED's. if you want to know where to get the stuff PM me.

ok, here's a short review...received it quickly! Watched one guy's video install (he doing it in the dark with poor lighting) on youtube.com as there are NO instructions included in the box. Yes, many things look 'common sense', but if you think you are not to snap off the existing tbl, you'd think for a moment that you are breaking that piece.

I too being too anxious attempted to do it in poor lighting at night with a lantern as my light source.

The only gripe I have is not with the product, but while doing the install, the left bolt (of 2 bolts only) seem to spin and spin during the tightening process... , and then I saw that it was not level. Went about loosening and retightening it...no avail... will try to redo the install in the next few days...in the meantime, it's on...and good-looking!

A: Like most panels in the car, you just have to keep pulling until it comes off. You can't really break anything.

Well I have nothing but good things to say about Oznium! Very quick shipping and awesome customer service... I just installed their LED TBL in my 06 xB along with a delay circuit so it blinks.

Only concern was I had to extend the connection since I had to install the circuit between the light and it's plug but it works great. Going to take video and post up this evening once it gets darker outside.

I decided to go for the LED TBL and then put a blinking circuit on it so it's easier to see, especially during heavy downpours here in Florida.

Not bad looking. Not that great either.

That's by design as I had the choice between blink anytime or delay and I went with delay - I didn't feel like having it blink every since time for anything link stop-n-go traffic.
