im tryin to decide which ones to get i wana stick to Corbeau, Bride or sparco... i tryin to see where to buy them online or in store (San Diego,Ca area) i just got my tax return so i have about 1200 to spend for everything... what do u guys think?

I've heard corbeau a4's are quite comfortable and they look nice. I was thinking about a set myself but i have other plans for now.

 

Well with $1200 the Bride's are only gonna get you one seat with brackets and sliders,unless you get the fake ones,which I would not recomend getting fake seats,it would just be wrong.Corbeau's are very comfy.Sparcos are also very comfy and for that amount of money you can get a nice set of them too.

 

look into recaro too if you want another alternative with decent pricing... personally i dont like the look of the corbeau seats, but thats my opinion

I got one of those "partial sponsorships" from Corbeau and got two A4s (in black/grey microsuede), brackets, and 4-point harnesses for a little over $800.

is it okay to run racing seats with the stock 3 point belt? I always though no but I'm seeing more people doing this. (Well I suppose I am just assuming the OP is doing this, but regardless, others definatly are)

 

yes its fine to use a 3pt, its basically a more bolstered seat. if you want to run harnesses though, say goodbye to having passengers!

 

I use my 3-point for DD. I only use the harnesses for AutoX.

i have corbeaus and love them. I just run the stock seat belts with no problem at all.

 

i ran stock seat belts with my sparcos for a few months until i switched to harnesses.

How much better do the A4s hold you in than the stock seats, I'm starting to consider all this....

 

BIG difference. They hold u in sooo good. between my lowering springs and the seats, i don't move at all. Just keep in mind they sit lower tho. But i am really short 5'7" and i can still see fine.

 

I love my A4's. I have them in black cloth and they feel amazing. I was afraid at first they wouldnt be comfy for long rides but I was def wrong. I'm running stock belts till I get harnesses in spring.

 

well I'm 6 foot so vision wont be a problem, plus me knees hit the steering wheel sometimes so I'd actually like to sit a bit lower lol

well shoot I really want to do this now. I wish I could get them in black vinyl/leather/pleather (lol) with red stitching...
