Do your research on the head unit you are looking at. Not all PAC modules will work with every unit out there. I'm a high end kenwood fan, but none of the controllers work with my headunit of choice.

If you havent already got a new radio some of the Eclispe units plug right into the factory plug behind the dash and the factory controls still work. Many of the double din units they make even plug into the factory power and speaker plug with no additional wireharness needed.
The Pac adapter for the stearing wheel control use a small IR repeater that installs with the brain of the stearing wheel module and your new radio must come with a remote to program the repeater to work.
