I'm going to be installing some coilovers in the next couple weeks and was hoping someone could recommend a place to get an alignment done.

I live in the west suburbs (Downers Grove to be exact), so the closer the better. I've heard a bunch of dealerships aren't "modification friendly" so I don't want to waste a bunch of time to find out they won't do it.

I took mine to Schaumburg toyota to get the alignment done. It was $100. I'm on h-techs, so not that low, but they didn't seem to mind.

here in Joliet, there is a joint that has the alignment rack with a pit. cost me $50 from aligment last time I was there. 4 years ago. said there isn't a car they can't align.

 

arlington toyota has the alignment rack w/ the pit so you just drive right on and dont have to worry about being low. i had my bags just about all the way down when they aligned mine and they had no problems.

 

I got my alignment done on Goldlines @ Sears for $70.

dont go to dealers they'll rip you off as they usually do. I've always gotten my alignment done at firestone $70 for lifetime alignment! each time i went from 18 to 17 in winter i got it done...

they have a deal for $40 one time alignment, or $70 for unlimited lifetime...

 

Do you have Firestone stores there? I got mines there with lifetime alignment for 130.

Yeah NP. Be sure to ask. If they say 180 tell them that your friend got his done for 130. They had a 50 off deal when I had mines done.

 

also when i was dropped on stechs with aftermarket front bumper, I had to take it off because it didnt clear their alignment machine
