I got my katzkins with silver leather and black suede installed and everything for $1120.75. It was extra $50 for the suede. I will have picks up later tonight.

how much would it be if you just got this particular option through the dealer when purchasing the car?

I believe it's like $1,199. Go to www.scion.com and build your own and it should tell you the prices of each option

you can order the katzkin kit online and put them on yourself. I can get them to sell, but you can get them online direct for the same pricer? (aggrivates me that they sell direct now). But anyways..if you are hand with doing stuff yourself, they are easy to install. I did mine in about 5-6 hours max. The leather should run about $700-$800 depending on what you want, and the rest of the $$ is the installation charge. If'n you wanna see some pics, go here http://home.netcom.com/~rcstprez/interior_3.htm
If'n you want to try it yourself and want some instruction, I'll be glad you help.

Well, it's not a factory option, so the scion website wouldn't show it...

But I got dealer installed two-tone leather for $1,300. Seemed fair to me, and it's under warranty.

Peace.

Actually it does show it. I just checked. Go to the website and do "build". Then it will ask you which car. Then you can click "interior" and it is in there.

Depends on what ZIP code you put in.
Not there if you put in a Great Lakes ZIP code (say 6144 but is there if you put in a Florida ZIP like say 32117.

Same here, dealership intstalled mine, but I'm not sure about it falling under warranty on mine. I got all black leather for all the seats, including the doors/side panels done in black leather. I must say it looks hot with all black leather interior ...matches well

I believe the job came to about 2 gran. I just didn't have the time and patients to do it.

SEM vinyl dye in those pics. I have recently finished re-doing more stuff in auto paint, but the doors, and all the lower panels are the SEM dye...and thanks for the compliment too.

just fine, but its all in the prep-work. Clean the panels down no less than 3 times with alcohol, and then use the plastic prep spray first, then 3 light coats of SEM. I only have 2 small nicks on the grab handle on the door from my wedding ring..
