I know they aren't as efficient but they are much cheaper than your front mount and you could always have the option to go front mount. I dunno it was just a thought, I'm sure they would sell quick with the price being lower and the option to go front mount if they wanted to. My friend has a Mazdaspeed3 and this is the only reason it came to mind.........just a thought

 

i doubt we have the room, even with a vented hood some turbo guys had trouble with it hitting.

Well it actually all depends on supply and demand for the product ^^

I think if you tried a custom top mount setup, it would end up being more expensive than a current front mount setup.

there's really no benefit to running the top mount on an aftermarket kit. Cost would be same as FMIC if not MORE because now you need the cowl hood.

This will have to be a custom kit if you want it that bad.

silly doing that is impractical. even a top mounted intercooler w/ an opening on the hood wont cool as well as a front mount

 

Top mount ftl. There is a reason why all the subi guys convert to front mount.
