I'd go with dish myself, looked at both, had directv first, dish is a little cheaper and you get the speed channel without going up to the next level.
Installed my directv dish at two diff. houses, not too hard, just takes a little time to get it pointed at the right angle.

which one of them is the one that dropped channel 4?

anyhow, yes like they said it's not hard to install a antenna & then run the cables to where ever you need them to in the house (usually a split point of some sort)

Don't get me started on Direct Tv......they could not install my dish, charged me $240 for cancelling my contract, then when I disputed and won, they sent me to collections for not paying the $240,which they owed Qwest at that time as they were paid by Qwest the money, then they took 9 months to pay back Qwest, meentime we were in collections for money that we did not owe......my credit score is now lower, had to file with the BBB and joined a Classaction lawsuit for this......whoops I guess I got started, carry on.

yeah, if I want to watch ABC, I do it over the antenna, its in HD that way. I don't watch the local channels over the dish, I get them all on my antenna.

Damn that discount! I guess we will see Monday if I'm the installer or not. It might be a contractor for Comcast but we shall see.

This is the route I'm going to be taking here in the next month or so.... Do some research into the "options" for this system. It's a few bills to buy the parts (cheap on ebay or used).. But after the intial buy, it's free

http://www.shop4fta.com/index.php?CM...FRIcawod-ArJbA

again, just do a little research into the "bonuses" to this system
