Ok I'm planing on putting 08 headlights on my 06 tc. I'm going hid. Here are my questions:)).

1. Which ones do I need the 9006 or h11 hids?
2. Do I need a converter? 9006>h11? Were can I find one?
3. And is there anything else I need? I'm doing install on my own

The mobile hid kit will plug right into the factory harness and since the bulb is H11, you don't need anything else.

I am pretty sure he would need something else since he does not have an h11 harness. The hookups are different.

If he was hooking up just a direct replacement of the 06 headlights, then yes. But since the harness hooks to the relay which hooks to the ballasts-bulbs, I thought he didn't need one. OP, shoot cliff a pm and he'll let you know, but I didn't think you needed one with the hid ballasts...

just email Cliff and he can tell you exactly which kit you need and any adapter harness if any.

You need H11 bulbs with a 9006 harness
2. Do I need a converter? 9006>h11? Were can I find one?
You need a 9006 harness, but the connection on most generic HID kits look like 9006 anyway, so I think you could get away with connecting your 9006 plug (from your car) directly into the ballast. But I highly recommend a wiring harness to draw power from your battery; not from your stock 9006 wires.

Looks like the high beam, parking, and turn signals are the same, but I could be wrong.

why would you spend additional money on the newer headlights which provide a narrow beam and just do a proper HID projector retrofit
