Default SPEC stage 3 clutch...

I just got my xB back from the shop after they installed my SPEC stage 3 clutch. All I can say is WOW. This thing sticks like a clutch is suppose to. I will hit the local dyno as soon as I get my header installed.

Default SPEC

David at SPEC clutch sponsored me, but my labor was $280 at a friends shop. Toyota wanted $400. If your near NC I can get a good deal on clutch installs.

Sweet Did you put synthetic gear oil in the tranny :?: I'll be doing my clutch and Jun flywheel myself sometime next week. My flywheel should be here on monday. I'm hoping for BIG improvments

That's my plan too. New flywheel, clutch, and synthetic in the tranny. But not for some time until after the surgeries. I'll order in the next month or tow due to the lag time on some of the parts.

Can't wait to see the dyno results on this one. Do you have a link to where the clutch was purchased? :D

Default Flywheel

I only have 10000 miles. My flywheel looked new. Just scuffed it up a little. I was going to do the JUN just don't want the 16 week down time when I replace it to get a new one. I plan on getting stonger half shafts for the front and using 15"s to race.

what clutch did u get and how much did it set u back?

also how much did u pay for ur JUN flywheel?

where did u purchase both of them from cause i plan on ordering a similar setup soon since my clutch is giving out towards the top of 3rd.

seems as if the factory pressure plate has a clamping force of an astonishing 100lbs haha
