there is a shop here that does an alignment right after they install the springs.

90% settled by 2 weeks.
100% by 3-4 months.

Alignment after 2 weeks is sufficient, but a little longer might be better. Just dont drive like an R-tard until then.

Neither of these are good things to do. When you lower the car, the suspension geometry changes. By doing an alignment right after they put the springs on means that when the springs settle, that your car will be out of alignment again. Also by not doing an alignment at all, the geometry has changed, and can cause issues with traction. In either case, un-even wear will occur, and you will need to replace the tires sooner than you would normally need to if the wheels were properly aligned.

Just a little FYI. I've had an alignment issue with my car since day 1 (it pulls to the left). So I've had my car on the rack when it only had 200 miles on it, then installed TRDs and it's been on the rack twice more since I installed the springs. The specs are EXACTLY the same with the TRDs as they were without. You really do not need an alignment with TRD springs.

Id like to see some proof of this, as that sounds like a total load of **** to me. Basically prove me wrong with something viable, but I don't think you can.

You're correct sir, I can't... Why would I save the spec printouts? Although, if you search CSTC i posted them there =)

Oh, by the way, nice attitude! I bet you've gotten real far in life with that... lol!

Wow, looks like I care what you think..... *sarcasm*

You have the burden of proof to show me that I am wrong, however since you can not produce, I will still believe all that I was taught to believe that when you change the geometry of the suspension (springs that are lower) that an alignment is needed.

I understand how suspension geometry works. And I've also been taught my whole life that if you lower a car you must get an alignment. I was a tech for 7 yrs, went to UTI, and went to a vocational HS for automotive. So I'm not disputing the fact. But I've seen the printouts from 3 different alignments and 2 different Toyota Dealerships. The specs were that same as stock. You don't have to take my word for it, I could careless. I was just putting out some info that I thought ppl could use. Don't let me tell you not to get an alignment. By all means get 1, you should. But with TRD springs it isn't necessary......
