Default looking for opinions

hey guys. i have an 08 tc and its time to add a little power. i bought the car new in april 08 and have been thinking what i want to do to add that extra go.

for a while i was thinking on saving for the sc, then tossed the idea of a turbo kit. in the end i think i wanna n/a the car.

my plan was for N/A was this:
Header
CAI
ecu/chip upgrade or reprogram.

i want peoples opinions as to what i should do to keep it N/A? a tc or sc kit is just too much for my wallet right now but i wanna give her some get-up-and-go

Also, another question...

Should i just get the standard aftermarket fuel pressure regulator or is it worth it for the adjustable?

you really should research before posting. there are no performance chips only piggybacks that need a tune.

even with every NA bolt on your car will not really have more power. just save up and go FI if you want to really feel anything. trust me and i had pretty much all bolt ons and the difference was negligible and not worth the price...or sound

well for starters i was gonna do a fuel pressure sensor, and plugs.

to be honest im not looking for a huge boost in power, i just wanna give it a lil more acceleration. plus this way i can do it 1 comission check at a time. id rather grdaually increase power and have a N/A that will eventually be awesome.

also lookin into an a/f tunner. still need a piggyback for a tuner/monitor? ill buy a tuner and split it with my buddy so he can tune his too.

i just like the thought of going na vs fi

well for everyone that has an extra 5 or 6 grand burning a whole in their pocket... rock on going FI... hell if I had that laying around I'd already be boosted. lol... but for moderate gains if you dont have that kinda loot just laying around to go full FI.... start with a CAI, racing header, and full race exhaust.... it wont be anywhere near a full FI...but for a much smaller investment you'll get decent gains over stock.

feel free to shoot any questions my way... I've been building race cars, hotrods, and others for more years then all of the above peeps in this thread have been alive. I have also had several cars I built featured in hotrod mags over the years.

this header + s pipe

some cat back system..

cold air intake ( one of the best)

maybe some nitro if u want to.

or just get some other things what you would enjoy over the power.. like:

short shifter

front strut bar

rear strut bar

springs and sways

it costs less than an s/c... but u will like the car much better

MM's or ETD are other things you can buy.

bolt ons will on get you so far. i suggest the turbo or s/c but if you insist on bolt ons then the best way to go is full on exhuast. cai and short ram intake won't do much. As for headers depends if you want high end or low end power. monster motorwork headers are good.
