So I just spaced out my wheels so I'm running +12 in the rear, and I would like to drop the whole car, but first I need to stretch the tires. I'm running 225 40 18, and know they need to be thinner. I figured 215 40 or 205 40 would be best. Here are some pics for referance so far.

no i have stechs i had 215/35 in the front and 225-40 in the back but now i changed them to
215-35 912 falken ended up cutting the springs in the rear (one loop) to sit lower and make it even will post pics later if u want

Yeah the fish is good stuff.
I have H techs and thought about cutting a loop off of them, but I think the tire change is needed first. Thanks for the info. Oh yeah the spacers are 20 mm.

And please please please do not cut springs, you'll kick yourself for it when you bounce around town rubbing tires. I'd also get the fenders rolled before you get the car lower to save your tires.

Or, I could get a 10mm spacer and have the machine shop mill off 1mm. Either way no prob, just a misunderstanding. But to answer the root question, I'm trying to tune in the rear offset first.

I run a 25mm hub centric spacer on the front and a 15mm spacer on the rear stockies, on 225/45/17's. Which comes out to be a 225/45 on a 17x7 with a +25 offset on the front and a +35 offset on the rear wheels. I run -2.5 on the front and -1.0 degrees of camber on the rear.
Anyways my point is that the car looks good, but the way the camber is setup with the rear wheels on a wider track seems to be the kind of setup you would see on a rwd car. [/img]

Well much apologies for me not looking at your profile before posting(is that a have to do now?). And as stated above he wants to get the rear stance set before going to the front.

It is true about the rwd look, I just want to tune in an overall vip style stance (no I do not have enough money). But we'll say "inspired by vip" for the haters. Just fell in love with the look but military pay won't be enough for a Lex 430 on Scaras. Anyways, much love, ordered the 215 40 18's today, and if I don't like that I'll mill down the spacers to 15mm at the shop. Deuces, and I'll be in touch. ;)
It's all cool and look forward to more pics of the car as it progresses and gets finished(don't forget to take some full side shots). I plan on doing the same setup except ride on adjustable coilovers.
