rear windshield wiper
what would be involved in installing a rear wiper on the tC? is it even possible? and i'm really not interested in hearing about how much it will ruin the "look" of the car....i'm just curious if it's even possible to do. thanks in advance.
duuuuuude......i NEEED w rear windshield wiper......its a pain in the ___ to look through the window when it snows or rains.......if u find out if its possible please post on here.....im deffinetly interested in getting a rear wiper.
I agree, a rear wiper would be nice for us who live where it snows. My probe had a rear wiper in the hatch. Judging by what was involved in that, I don't think it's a possibility without making a whole new custom hatch.
I'm not very familiar with the rear of a TC but it seems like you should be able to find a motor assembly, drill a hole and put one in. I think the hardest part would be bracing it and making sure it was weather tight. The rear wiper assembly on the XB is pretty small from what I remember.
it has been raining a lot around here and it does get to be a pain that the visibility is greatly reduced
i would not get one...but i do understand why you would like one
like they said earlier...with proper financial ability you can do it

If you notice most cars with rear windows, the housing is not that small - the motor and wiper transmission stick out a good bit. I'm sure it could be done, but you could have to rebuild a LOT of trim pieces to cover everything you add.
