Con Grats! I'm still waiting for mine (Feb. 3). Mine is plain jane, but I may just put an upgrade exhuast. I know, all the fun stuff you can put on it. If I do mod-it, i'll keep it on the low down, and use it when i need it. (Exhaust, stablizer bars, and audio system)
Have fun.

I picked my box up Thursday night 02/09/06. Silver, Auto, xB with NO options. Nada, not even the floor mats. So it can be done w/o the mats. Total complete price including tax was $16,513.08 at Rountree Moore Toyota/Scion in Lake City, FL Anyone in the NE Florida area fixing to buy a Scion or Toyota will do well buying from them. Very considerate of the buyers point of view and from what I can tell the price is as good as it gets.

WTF, At first I thought you got another box and was going to keep this one stock. Then I looked at the date and shouted WTF. LMAO
Now it needs to be moved to the "I just got a new xB and am so excited" thread :P

I hate to burst any bubbles here but you need to add one part that SCION is too cheap to provide. You need to buy or make a CABIN AIR FILTER to put into your empty CABIN AIR FILTER TRAY that is behind the glove box. See the TECH section's thread called Fabricate your own CABIN AIR FILTER. See photo's of how to pop out the glove box to access your empty filter tray. You can buy one from SCION for $22 or get it at advanced, autozone or pepboys for about $12.
Install this and then you will be whole,(car will be fully assembled).
Congrats and welcome...,

now this thread is going insane. the thread started jan2004. it just happen that Puente Hill had a shipment the night before. if I was late a few days, for sure they already loaded a bunch of crap on it. you can buy scion there, but i don't recommend buying toyota at puente hills, go to fleet sales(Longo). and yes, the time someone posted(way way back) about the cabin filter, I also made mine.

Sid you are right it's soo funny. I guess a thread never dies. It just sits there in the back of the fridge and gets moldy.

Congratulations on your "Box". You know I got my TCM/auto xB plain too, said I wasn't going to add anything either, guess what, After just 1 month I have already added rear spoiler, cruise, armrest (highly recommended), tinted the front windows and bought wheels & tires...LOL. I hope your will power is stronger than mine. and it definitely attracts attention whereever you go.
Sid_xBicious
02-13-2006, 09:48 PM
Where did you get the armrest from? how much? I think thats the only thing i'm going to get. I want to get nice rims but i'm too cheap, probably will wait until the stock wears.
BTW, does anyone knows any aftermarket foglights?
thanks,
xBster
02-13-2006, 11:06 PM
My toyota dealer had them on the Scion accessory list $125.oo installed. You can also get the Factory foglight kit online at www.trdsparks.com for half of what most dealers sell for . they have the install instructions you can download , it is basically just snap 'em in and plug 'em in. They are on my list too..
