Default How to stop door panel / speaker vibrations

I have a stock system in my XB2 and I have a vibration/buzz coming from the door panels around the speakers. I know that sound deadening has been covered here before, but I am just looking for the simplest and most cost efficient way to stop this annoying noise. I don't really care about the road noise just the door panel vibrations. Where should I put some dynamat? Just on the backside of the panels? Thanks for any help that you can give me.

put some on the outer skin(shell)of the door, the inner skin(where the speaker is mounted) and on the panel.the metal resonates and travels to the plastic panel.or for a real cheap alternative is to go to wally world and get a can of rubberised undercoating and spray them down with that

The panel itself resonates. I used some dead skin on the actual door and then did the inside of the panel and that helped a ton.

Mount the speaker on a piece of MDF usually stops alot of vibration. They dont cost to much I have them for $20 a pair.

Do a search for RBlox on my site www.clearstarmediagroup.com It comes in 50 square feet or 100 square feet. Usually best to find a friend to go in on it with but 50 sq feet will do almost everything in a car.

Default door vibrations - 09 xB

wow...not delighted but relieved to hear my xB isn't the only one experiencing the vibration. Doesn't happen around town, but once I'm on the freeway with the volume at say 32, the door panel and I also thought the power window switches were vibrating...I taped down the switches and the panel that houses them and the vibration is still happening... to the dealer I go - glad I have the extended warranty...printing out this thread to combat the "we can't reproduce the problem" ! thanks all...
