LED Swap Parts and Links
I'm finding it that it's an incredible pain to find good information regarding the LED parts needed.
So I'd like to pull it all together into this topic... I'd also like to know how many of each is needed where appropriate.
LED Resources So Far:
Gauges PLCC-2
PLCC-2 is needed for the gauge LED swap
The number needed depends on how you want to do your gauges... you won't need more than 50.

Key Fob PLCC-2
I used a PLCC-2 LED inside of my keyfob along with a very small jumper wire that I soldered to the leg of the chip inside of the key. I followed the trace to the leg and soldered it. I had to do it this way since the PLCC-2 is actually about 32x bigger than the LED that was in there prior...
Passenger Airbag Warning Lights 1x PLCC-2 2x Unknown
I replaced the passenger seatbelt warning LED with a PLCC-2. Worked fine.
The other two LEDs on the board had four legs but were PLCC-2 sized... I don't know what they are.
This pretty much fills out the remaining holes in the information needed!

And perhaps under here could be all the links to DIY for things around the forum...

You need 3 #74 bulbs for the HVAC controls. Use type "B"- Autoillumination
Traction control switch, fog light, Mode button and window switch- I used a plcc2
License plate- 194 wedge bulbs- Garage 1217
Map light- 194 wedge bulb- Garage 1217
Thats all I have done. Looking at the reverse light from LEDMOD, but last time I checked, no pricing.[/quote]

Good thread bump for some motivation
I have the dome light and cargo light sizes somewhere too, superbrightleds.com is a bomb resource for this stuff
( I see the dome / trunk lights aren't on your original list btw OP)

N00b question. The previous owner of my tC changed the needles on the gauges to blue and the numbers white. I hate it. I know a guy who wants it and will trade me his gauge cluster.
So if I staright up swapped the entire cluster would that throw off mileage or is that stored in the car's computer? I'm used to driving a 94 civic eg. This car is high tech.

Also, im pretty sure that the mileage is stored in the cluster and the ecu. if you do swap clusters, it will need to be reprogrammed.

Just remember though that the 2011 has a different gauge faceplate than the 2008-2010 models. You can order the new 2011 faceplate through LEDmod.com, he just created the template yesterday.
