05-06 TPMS help please
so the 05-06 tCs do not have an actual sensor in each wheel, but calculate wheel speed off of the ABS sensor. This is a pointless system since it doesn't actually measure the tire pressure.
I recently had to get 2 new passenger side tires because of potholes and the front left tire now has less tread than right one. I believe this is setting the light off because of the slight change in rotation. Before anyone chimes in about what my tire pressure is, I have it set at 35 PSI in the front and 32 PSI in the rear (on the door it says 32/front and 29/rear, a 3 PSI difference. Since I added a little more air in each but kept it at the 3 PSI difference it shouldn't matter since in theory all the wheels should read equal. When I had all new tires this worked fine) and this has been a problem since I bought the car (used) last year. The only way the light stayed off is when I bought all new tires, or replaced them in pairs. Buying tires is getting expensive...
I can't take the damn light on my dash anymore. it's frustrating when I know nothing is wrong. is there a way to reset it to what i'm running now regardless of tire pressure/wheel circumfrence? I'm sure there isn't a way to turn the system off but maybe change the settings? I'm about to take the friggin' LED bulb out as a last resort...
**EDIT** I did a search and found there was no way to deactivate it, so if anyone has some helpful info on getting it set properly then that'd be great.

you need to reinitialize the system.. hold button until it the light blinks 3 times..
it's in your owner's manual..
page 110 to be exact... and you can read pages 107-109 while you're at it too.
