In our efforts to make our guests happy, we want people to have a fair shake at awards. All judging will be held by an impartial committee who are not registered in any category.
Judging will be based on Overall Presentation. Not just how many Mods you may have, but how they all coincide together.
Customizations should be clean, seamless, near perfect.
Understandably event goers will be coming from all over, and will be driving their vehicles.
If a vehicle is registered for show category and has a little bit of dirt, it will not be held against it. Ofcourse if a vehicle is there for show, it should be presentable.

Maybe the g/f and I will try to make it down for one of these Rockland events this summer. Have to see how the autocross schedule lines up.

Thanks thanks, but I don't do it all, I have my friends and co workers who help, like Andy from Parts, Nelson and Christian, Emil and DJ Rush from Encore Entertainment, DJ Shy, the guys from Technical Advantage, and of course, all of you guys who make it a success. without the owners this would never have happened! I just want to have fun when the events happen. Unfortunately I have to keep on working on these events, after I'm done with work! lol, oh well. no rest for the weary.

I actually have a weekend off from work :)

It's been a mad dash this week, replacing the turbo manifold as well. I tried to reuse old hardware and snapped a bolt. Took several hardware runs. I eventually wound up re-tapping the exhaust turbine & the downpipe!

Those Dezod manifolds appear to wear out faster than paper plates! I can't even get my 2nd one fixed its cracked so badly!

That being said, I have something I want to ask/say.

Where is all this hate coming from? I know I really haven't been in the scene for a while and haven't been to a show for a while until HIN last week, but what is going on? There seems to be a lot of factions now and hate being tossed around. I remember when pretty much everyone got along and it was a lot more fun. Now I see that if you sit with certain people, you get certain looks. If you talk to this person and not other people you are shoved off. I try to talk to everyone, even though I am a shy guy by nature, and I don't understand where all this hate and animosity is coming from that I have been seeing. I heard a lot of talk behind people's backs at HIN and Rockland and I find this retarded. Retarded for grown adults to be talking like children.

Everyone I have met out here is good people and I don't see why things are the way they are. I don't see why most people cannot get along.

I personally have chosen not to represent any clubs or groups anymore because of the things that I saw before, but I still try to hang out and be cool with everyone. I really could care less who you represent, I'll hang with anyone.

The NJ/NY BS'ers are not a club, we are just a couple friends that talk all the time on SL and decided to give ourselves a name. Team NJCT is the club that won after NRG today.

If anyone has an issue with me or what I just said, feel free to let me know. I'd rather talk than there be any lingering issue. I don't mean this as hate either. Don't take my sometimes weird looks as me being ____ed or anything, I'm really a nice guy, just shy sometimes.

I know, and I think I speak for my team when we say this, is that the last thing we want in the scene are knuckleheads and people who cause drama. We separate ourselves from that.

BUT, it is 100% impossible to eliminate those kind of people. The best thing anyone can do is ignore them, and watch them run their reputation into the ground with their own b**l$h*t. Maybe eventually they will get the point that their negativity isn't welcome and they will either get their act together, and GTFO.

All in all it was an outstanding day, a little humid, but whatever. Lots of good conversations, laughs, pictures, so on and so forth.

I tell you, you guys put on great shows every time. I normally dont like to drive far and Rockland is the furthest id drive for a car show. Great food, Great Music. I know, and I think I speak for my team when we say this, is that the last thing we want in the scene are knuckleheads and people who cause drama. We separate ourselves from that.

BUT, it is 100% impossible to eliminate those kind of people. The best thing anyone can do is ignore them, and watch them run their reputation into the ground with their own b**l$h*t. Maybe eventually they will get the point that their negativity isn't welcome and they will either get their act together, and GTFO.

All in all it was an outstanding day, a little humid, but whatever. Lots of good conversations, laughs, pictures, so on and so forth.

Of course its nice to be rewarded for lots of hard work, but at the end of the day you will value the memories and friends you make more than you will a piece of plastic.

Where is all this hate coming from? I know I really haven't been in the scene for a while and haven't been to a show for a while until HIN last week, but what is going on? There seems to be a lot of factions now and hate being tossed around. I remember when pretty much everyone got along and it was a lot more fun. Now I see that if you sit with certain people, you get certain looks. If you talk to this person and not other people you are shoved off. I try to talk to everyone, even though I am a shy guy by nature, and I don't understand where all this hate and animosity is coming from that I have been seeing. I heard a lot of talk behind people's backs at HIN and Rockland and I find this retarded. Retarded for grown adults to be talking like children.

Everyone I have met out here is good people and I don't see why things are the way they are. I don't see why most people cannot get along.

I personally have chosen not to represent any clubs or groups anymore because of the things that I saw before, but I still try to hang out and be cool with everyone. I really could care less who you represent, I'll hang with anyone.

The NJ/NY BS'ers are not a club, we are just a couple friends that talk all the time on SL and decided to give ourselves a name. Team NJCT is the club that won after NRG today.

If anyone has an issue with me or what I just said, feel free to let me know. I'd rather talk than there be any lingering issue. I don't mean this as hate either. Don't take my sometimes weird looks as me being ____ed or anything, I'm really a nice guy, just shy sometimes.

Nobody from any club was hating at the show. There was one person there who seems to have an issue with a club and months after the fact still likes to act out about it. I do believe this person needs to finally let go and move on. Bcuz this one person and his comments from Sunday has now started all the negative posts about a great event and is taking focus away from that.

don't know how much budget there is but how about some carnival events. like knock the bottle over for a cupie doll or the "test your strength" thingy... This way Rockland can generate some money for future events....

Trying...The problem is to get the vendors we have to spend the money to get them to commit. then hope that money earned is enough to cover those costs.. it becomes a wash, in a sense, but ony for the spendature. If anyone knows of people who will set up for free, that's another story ;) If people have contact numbers, send them my way. I'll work on the rest
