Default My Retrofit Thread **Finished! With Pics! 5/30/09**

So a few days ago i took apart my aftermarket headlights and started getting ready for my project.

Retrofit Parts
TSX clear lens projectors
Philips 85122+ D2S bulbs 5000k
Hella ballasts
replacing all LEDs
Brighter leds for the halos, Ive heard superflux works good.

Blacking out orange corner reflectors

Should be ordering everything within the next few days =D

The start of the pictures
Sorry if the flash is killing you. I used my girl camera and couldnt figure how to turn the flash off lol. Better picture available upon request though!

And how can i totally delete the led blinker function on the eyelid without the blinkers noticing theres a problem and flashing really fast. I tried just totally cutting out the conector while they were on the car but that didnt work

I have a set of anzo's and I'm wondering if these would fit them? I have the led's on my top brow in the headlight they are all burned out so I plan to cover them up. Never like LED's in the lights.

you'll probally have to fab up your own mounting plate. I would do it by taking apart the projectors that came with the lights. use that because thats what bolted to the actual housing. cut the piece of sheet metal and take apart your TSX projector, trace the bolts on there, cut the holes, mount the plate, mount the TSX projector. i hope you know what i mean.

btw, the Philips 85122+ D2S bulbs are not 5000k, unless they've color shifted and are now a blueish color? they're 4300k.

i think only color shifted bulbs, in which we dont like because you loose intensity.
