Default Wheels are so confusing...

I am so confused, Hopefully someone can make a VERY clear simple answer for me cause I dont wanna learn what everything means haha.

Okay, I have a 2007 BSP scion tC with the stock 17" wheels on them. I found the wheels I want which are called Konig Zeros which a pic will be listed. I went to the tire dealer and they were giving me all these crazy numbers and offset blah blah stuff.

To the point. My stock wheels look so tiny and stupid on my tC. Would 18'' Konig Zeros look full, nice and clean? Do I need to worry about rubbing or whatever its called, and is there a certain thing I should tell the tire dealership about what exact offsets or width or whatever?

Thanks for your help, I'm just very confused with all the numbers and technical terms, and all I see is a nice looking wheel and want it bigger than my stock ones and it to look nice on my tC, but im not a huge car technical nerd. Also its not just about looks, i'd like good stability and a nice ride too, if they look cool but screw up my driving and control and handling, forget it lol my cousin had mentioned about a certain width controlling the handling and i'm just like, I do not know anything at all about what you just said.

Thanks!

That particular bolt pattern doesn't look like it'll fit. Our cars are 5x100. Also make sure that your tpms will fit the new rim. Ill let someone else handle the will it rub. But if its gonna be like a 7 or 7.5 rim it should fit. But im not 100 percent on that.

18x8 et40 would be good....it depends too if you want it to look flush...not sure if you would know what that means but trust me it looks good.....you are probably going to rub also...it depends on if and how much you are lowered....

+40 is gonna be far from flush bud....he's gonna have to go with a way lower offset, roll the fenders and make it fit.

let him search a lil more

I don't care if its flush I just want it full and nice looking, but definately not sticking out of the fender like i've seen one guy do on this site, so either flush or tucked under.

To the guy who said I should research wheels I just clearly stated I don't want to learn or research, I want a simple answer yes or no on these specific ones i'm planning on purchasing. I've researched these wheels and others to do with the Scion tC i've got a headache from all the numbers and letters and technical words, I dont want to anymore haha thanks though.

I am not lowered at all, stock height currently, and don't plan to be unless I buy these in 18"s and they still look stupidly small then I may have to lower slightly but I have no idea how that even works.

I hope they'll end up fitting and I know about the TPMS and I sure hope that works with these. Thanks for your responses so far.

i agree, atleast get some data on the wheels and then ask us if they're fit. With out the numbers we don't know 100% if they're fit. Its like saying i want shoes but idk what size my foot is and I don't wanna know. It won't work. you'll be buying and returning alot of shoes.

I have DONE the research, as much as I can stand to. I never said I dont feel like researching, its just that everything i've researched doesn't make any sense and doesn't give me a flat out answer.

I don't know the data, that is the issues, i've seen what the wheel looks like, then about 16 different options with a flood of nonsensical numbers lol. I dont know what data you need or I need at all about them. I'd provide whatever I needed to if I even knew what that was. Thanks.

well how about you tell us what you know and we can help you with the gaps so you can make a good educated decision. what you've posted is very very general.

you need a 5x100 wheel (5 is the number of holes and 100 is the spacing, 5x100 is the scion tc bolt pattern) in 18x8.5 where 18 is the diameter and 8.5 is the width. the offset is the location of the face in regards to the centerline of the wheel in mm. a positive number sits towards the outside and a negative number sits towards the inside. if you are looking for a range to use, look at the sticky that says New wheel fitment thread, that should tell you what offsets to buy.

IN ADDITION what is your budget, there is a huge range of wheels and you need to remember that you're entire car runs on your wheels so you don't want to get crap thats going to bend.

You're not going to find a site that says YES BUY THIS NO GET THIS INSTEAD. thats what people here are for. you need to search, you will find a lot, i understand your impatience but you need to find it in you to be patient and make an educated decision.

I've had the Konig wheels before, I trust them and I know they're a good wheel. My budget is 1400 but at the same time of all wheels i've looked at these are the only ones i'd want on my car, its not about impatience, its about these are the ones I found that I like from a good company that I, and other people I know trust. I'm not really looking for opinions on if people like them, im wondering if they'll fit and pertinent information I would need to tell a dealer to make sure they look full, drive well, and fit perfectly. I really do try to comprehend all the numbers and bolt patterns and offsets and negative numbers but it doesn't click with me for some reason. I actually did look at that wheel fitment thread before posting this, and i've seen the wheel fitment chart someone posted as well but that was completely a foreign language to me, thats why i'm posting this thread, hoping for a simple answer since I somehow cant comprehend the numbers, and how the numbers will affect look, and drivability.
