this is my 2nd xB I got an 06
last one was an 05

I noticed while driving on the freeway last night a weird noise coming from the upper windshield headliner area..
no wind coming through
but it's a faint and irritating rattle sort of sound...

my 05 didnt have this irritation???

any ideas? thoughts? or suggestions?

Oh man!!

I remember mine having an odd sound around the windshield. Then the next thing I noticed was the dreaded...... "crack from nowhere".

Hope this is not the case.

 

There is a TSB for dash rattles for the 1st gen. I have had to add some tape to stop the rattle i found on the passenger side A pillar cover. Easiest thing to do is to drive around and have someone look for that sound while you drive.

I replaced one of my wipers with a non-toyota brand, its a little longer, and rattles like crazy at higher speeds. I know you said at the top, but maybe sound is carrying??
