Weapon R "Secret Weapon" air intake
Hi all,
Just wanted to post up some pics of my Secret Weapon install. Went pretty smooth, and I think it looks great. Also sounds very good from about 3k rpm up. For the record, I did remove the big gauze "pre filter" from the stock resonator before I did the Weapon R install, and there doesn't seem to be a big power difference between the two.
I bought the Weapon R intake for $170 shipped from CarParts.com -- pretty good deal from what I can tell. It shipped direct from Weapon R, and it came with the ram air kit and cleaning solution.
Over the next few weeks, I am going to explore getting a reducer elbow, which may allow me to use the Ram Air kit. I suppose I could also relocate the battery, but I'd rather not lose the storage space. I'll post pics of any further mods.

im-ppprrrrr-ovement!!! sounds awesome! and it feels a lot more torque-e...also that might be becauase i ybplugged the battery and i recently installed a full exhaust and then did this....the sad thing was finding out the construction of the trd intake pipe....its not one solid piece, its two welded together nicely polished on the outside and it has some kind of secondary ring in the area that has the sensor...weird...but i can always assemble the trd back together with the use of one of thos rubbery flanges :p
