Rota Grid's Lowest Offset and Size?
I'm new to the TC's and was looking into getting some Rota Grid's. I have searched around a bit and have seen some wide wheels with some low offsets. The TC is lowered on Hotchiks springs. What kind of 18"s can we run on there with no rubbing issues. What about offsets. I have seen most are around +40 or so. Around what offset do you get into trouble with rubbing?
Thinking the (18x9.5 Rota Grid - Gold (5x100/e38/56.1) may be pushing it. Offset is +38 but I would think 9.5 is pretty wide for a TC. I have seen one car on here with this setup and hes slammed. Yet wonder what it took to take that to work.

Any issues with the (18x8.5 Rota Grid - Flat Black (5x100/e44/56.1) Offset may need some spacers to look nice, but you loose that concave look.

Any input would be great!

It's actually for my girlfriends TC. Don't need any rubbing issues and not looking to slam the car. Plus I have never been into that tire tucked look. Makes no sense to me but to each his own!
I guess I could take the rear wheels off my S2000 and throw them on her TC yet I think the TC is 5x100 correct. They are a 17x9.5 +44 Work XD9's. 3" Lips! Ah well, guess we will have to go with an 8.5....any issues with that wide of a wheel?
