Finally found out how to work by digital camera :D Also the car is on an incline, so the drop looks a bit odd on some pictures -_-;;

Looks good, cloudnine! I see you were able to install the short shifter. By the way, what size are your tires?

The size is 205/40. I'll take more pictures on a flat surface tommorow if you guys want to see the wheel gap ^_^

I have to say, the shifter was a pain to install @_@ Hardest part was getting out the cup to take out the old shifter. I have cuts and bruises all over my hand trying to budge it out! Your FAQ really helped me out though ^_^ Thanks mikochu!

I'll try to take more pics in the day, but it's all rain lately in California

Ah, I remember when my Marshmallow looked that clean. Damn this Wisconsin snow! She's dirty, I can't wait to wash/detail her when the weather improves :)

Looks good, i never noticed until now how big the wheel wells are in the xa, theres a lot of room for wheels in there.

oh i almost forgot what the fu$k is a "panda?" Is that what you guys (girls) call your cars?

Is it just me or are your tires a smaller overall diameter than stock. It looks like you have a lot more space on either side of the tire and the wheel well. Other xAs don't look like they have that much space in the wheel well.

yeah, 40series is too short for 17's. you should run 45 series nex time around.. but i'm sure that's the size offered with your package....

I belive the white xA's are called pandas. I persoanly think they look awsome almost makes me think the pgp was a mistake.. but problly not

I think they look really good too, but calling it a panda! c'mon
That would ____ me off if i had a white one, Is it mostly girls or gays who have white xa's?

jct

white xA's are like blank slate/empty canvas for a paint job

I think the panda name rawks myself. I mean the xA is a rad little car. with the white and black and shape of the car i think its totaly fitting. And seriously would you take food from a panda? i dident think so

I've never heard the "panda" title given to my car, but the "marshmallow" title has stuck (blame my best friend the first time she saw the car). I actually don't mind it anymore....

It's the driveway incline! blah.. I'll take more pics when it stops flooding around here =p

I was recommended not to go with a 45 tire since there is a possibility of rubbing issues. The ones I have now runs great. Much less tire noise than stock ^_^

My friends gave my car the title of 'panda' the second they saw it! I think it's much better than just calling it an xA. Adds that bit of personality ya know? :D

Tamago
01-11-2005, 05:04 PM
45series will not rub if you run a 205 45. i promise you this.

what's your offset, actually? i'm at a +42 offset, with no issues.

01-11-2005, 06:20 PM
My offset is +40 and I'll be getting 10mm shims for the rear. I might consider getting 45 size in a few months, but right now I need the cash for other things ^_^

Here is why i call my xA a "panda"...white in color..and also cause I went with a black and white look.

It's also in my username ever since i bought my xA back in Aug '03.

Tamago
01-11-2005, 06:41 PM
yeah, just wear em out lol.. that's what i did with my 40 series.. i went 215 40 and they are a bit wide, but the handling is amazing, so no complaints.

my next tires = 225 45 15 i hope ;) :)

but for racing only :)

My friend has an IIP xA. If Scion didn't make a tC I would have either bought a white or silver xA. These cars rock. I have a white tacoma so I didnt want to go with white again.
Looks great by the way. I like the term panda. What should we call the IIP's?
:D

p.s.
All xA's should have the running boards painted. Looks sooo much better.
Take a look at runforrestrun's xA pics. Not as noticeable on the IIP as lighter colors.

why paint the running boards if you can just buy an awesome looking kit?

Cause it's cheaper? I dunno. Anyone know how much a pair of sideskirts go for anyway?

most sideskirts sell for like 180 max.

A full kenstyle knockoff kit is about 450 shipped in CA, but everyone has it already so it looks kinda plain =\

What I REALLY want is the Partier Kit, but it's too expensive to ship from Japan @_@

Nice xA! Hope you can roll out to the Stevens Creek event on sunday.
I won't be able to go to the steven creek thing, but I''m definitely going to the Japantown event ^_^

I don't know anyone out here in the Midwest with any sort of kit on their xA. All i really want is the Kenstyle grille anyways 8)
