Ok, I read this thread, really cool..

The next question I am proposing is why I should change my name to village idiot.

I need one more key for my scion tc.

I lost one in a sewer, and the other one, well i cracked the loophole.

After a heated argument with service manager chargin 300 for a key i bought one for 80 and they programmed and cut it as a free courtesy.

I am thinking of buying a keyshell and transfering the cracked key stuff into the new one.

That is the buttons, put them in the new shell, the little chip/brain, in the new one.

Now the immobilizer is there anyway i can fit that immobilizer chip into the new key?

thanks all!

Spending 80$ for a new shell just to not have the loophole cracked is a waste. You have a working key, so just don't lose it this time.
