I was wondering if anyone had a DIY on how to flush and change engine coolant as well as power steering fluid?
I did use the search button but couldn't find anything beneficial.
Thanks in advance!

For the power steering flush get a quart of Toyota automatic tranny fluid, then turkey baster the plastic container empty and fill to full with new fluid, run car turning wheels back and fort for say 3 times each dirrection and then remove more fluid till empty and add more and start car again, repeat till quart is gone and and by then it is fairly well clean and new fluid.I am sure there is another way to do it but that is what I did and it made no mess.
As for radiator.....open up the plug at bottom and drain into pan,add distilled water back to full with drain closed and run motor for a minute or so,and drain again, repeat 4-5 times to get all old fluids out, then refil with new 50/50 mix till it quits taking new coolant.

You're going to have to tell me what this turkey baster means lol.
I thought we were about to change fluid then we went into frying a turkey :P

At an interval when you believe they should be done. My car is at about 38k so i'll do mine and probably do it every 25 to 30k.

So to clarify....we are using Toyota Automatic Transmission Fluid as Power Steering Fluid?
bump since i found this. the fluid is dexron III auto trans fluid that is being used as power steering fluid. Toyota's ATF is actually type IV not the same as Dexron III as I've done my research on this. DONT USE TYPE-IV IN THE POWER STEERING SYSTEM.
Two are good for you to use for power steering fluid.
- Mobil D/M ATF (hard to find, but search you can find it)
- Mobil 1 ATF (dexron III compatible, and almost everywhere)
so for anyone who reads this later on, you can use either of the above and know it'll work fine with the power steering pump.
