which reminded me of a fast mod I did some time ago.

I did not like how dim the LED that was inside of the microphone assembly that was supplied by the factory. So a quick trip to Radio Shack, and one super bright LED later, I had a flashing security light that would just about light up the whole interior.

All you do is pop out the mic assembly. It just snaps apart and back together again. Inside of it is just an LED, a resistor, and a microphone. I just removed the factory LED and soldered the new bright one in its place. I think you might have to remove the resistor, but it has been some time since I did this, so I can't remember.

It makes the factory security system just that much more noticable.[/url]
