i am just thinking og what kind of sand paper to use to sand my fiberglass subbox am thinkking of 400 grit all the way and use a gloss coat to keep that shine it has am just need to know what number of sand paper i need to do this and then am ready to go. thanks.

 

i think you should do 400, 600, 1000 or 1500 , then 2000 to get smooth finish!

400 -> 800 -> 1500 or something. If you end with 400, you'll have a rough surface after painting.
