So i handed down my tC, and now driving a 2009 VW GTi, in 6-speed manual (DSG = fail). My model comes with the brand new TSi motor, which is an epic revision compared to the 08 and prev yr FSi models. My TSi has a high pressure fuel pump, better turbo from IHI as opposed to borg warner, its still a k03....The TSi also has a much lower compression (better for boost ) Heres a pic of my new euro rocket hatch



Going to drop it soon, change wheels summer time. For performance I'm going to be getting an AWE diverter, intake, 3'' stealthback w/ software and ill be pushing 260whp & 300wtq

im looking at throwing a k04 on this car too as opposed to upgrading to a gt30 keep the OEM factor, ....this ones a lease lol k04s i can make 350whp w/ intercooler & rs4 injectors (only half of them tho lol)

lol i dont think this car will be as fast as my tC for a long time....stage2 wont keep up....id have to go k04 or gt30 ..........but i try not to think about it i gota 6 speed now lol we'll do a 130mph roll lol

 

check this out a k04 gti w/ the FSi motor up against a stage 2 335i....and modded 335is book it my buddies stage 3 335i w/ watermeth stock turbo makes 400.87 whp lol....... the .87 was req.

hey Bryan did you trade in the tc for the gti or did you sell it outright? how much did you get?

 

Unitronic is the best software out, my best friend has a gti united grey 08 (FSI) full boltons but no methanol yet.. he put down 260whp without the fuel pump and FMIC so were gonna go get dynod again and see what he does.. were hoping close to 280, just dont do straight pipe.. its alittle to loud lol
