Default clear corners for the xB

in the tech forum there is a great thread on making your xB have clear corners. however there is one thing that i would add to the directions of that. while you have the headlight off spray your turn signal bulb with a LIGHT coat of silver testors spray paint. this will get rid of the orange tint of it, but it will still blink orange!

This isn't cheaper, but buy LED bulbs. When they are off, they don't emit any color.

that wont work right .. becaused leds use less power then standard bulbs ... you will get a FAST blinking front and rear turn because the car will think it has a dead bulb ... only way to get it to work right is to wire in a resistor

I didn't mean just wiring up an LED into the bulb socket. They make LED replacement bulbs that are wired with resistors at www.superbrightleds.com and other places. I have them in a few spots on my car, so I know they aren't a problem.

I used APC (don't start! ) yes APC, chrome bulbs. They shine hyper white and match the silverstars perfectly!

You don't need bulbs that shine amber... Your turn signals can legally be white up front... You made it illegal once you took out the reflector... But cops don't really notice anyway, unless the bulb is full on "blue"

I also used the APC bulbs but I wised up and got the silverstar "clear" that shine amber. The prob. with the "white" is in the day time no one could see them and I still got pulled over. So I had to buy 2 sets of bulbs, and should not have gotten the APC in the start
