i just painted my stockies (ill post pics once i snap some photos) with the dupli wheel coating.

they've been sitting for a good 24 hours but it is going to rain the next few days.

should i try to find a garage to hide it in for a few more days or will i be alright?

 

if they've been sitting for 24 hours at room temp (around 70 degrees) and with normal or lower humidity, you should be okay, they should've cured by now, but if you're that concerned, I would garage it for another day just in case...

 

you should be fine.
i painted mine, threw em on, and drove right away.
granted it wasnt raining but there was a few puddles that i went through and i havent had any issues.

 

when i painted my stockies. i let them dry in the garage for the whole night then slapped them on the morning to be extra safe to make sure they were fully dry. depends on how many coats as well. i used 4 color coats and 3 clear coats to give a solid look.

 

i used 3 color and no clear. lol

 

i used the clear to protect the paint more. dude i put so much work into my stockies that i would never even think of doing anouther set even if somone paid me. cleaning.sanding. painting....way to much work. especially by yourself. i had good outcomes tho and i dont regret all the hours i put in

 

hey yellowxhoodie and menace, where did you guys get your green pray paint? I have been looking for some and cant find any locally (or even online)

i used engine "grabber green paint" and then i used duplicolor clear wheel paint. yellow didnt use that tho and still came out good. you can get it at pepboys or advance. my advice is take your time and put good effort if you want good outcomes. i have friends that have painted rims and they look horrible.
